The solar bench is dual-powered, utilizing both sunlight and a battery. A smart energy management system gives preference to solar power. The battery charges up when the bench is idle. On overcast days and during the night, the battery supplies the energy needed to operate the bench.

Typically, we utilize rechargeable batteries that handle deep discharges more effectively, such as during winter months when sunlight is scarce. These batteries are equipped with a solid electrolyte, guaranteeing safe usage without any risk of leakage.

Indeed, the duration of operation is contingent on the quantity of energy accumulated throughout the day.

Then all energy consumers are shut down until the sun comes out. Don't fret, the bench includes integrated systems to prevent excessive battery discharge, which can shorten battery lifespan.

Photon is equipped with three USB A ports, two featuring AiPower and one with Quick Charge 3.0. This setup ensures that while you're seated on the bench, you can power up virtually any handheld device including: smartphones, tablets, GPS devices, smartwatches, or power banks for extended journeys. Quick Charge 3.0 technology also enables charging for certain laptops, like the MacBook Air. Additionally, an optional wireless charger is available.

During winter, the bench's functionality hinges on the frequency of sunny days. The batteries are designed to perform even in sub-zero temperatures. The sole downside to the cold is a temporary drop in battery capacity, which rebounds once temperatures rise again. Essentially, if it's sunny on a chilly day, the bench will operate just fine.

The inside of the bench is designed with ventilation, and the electronic components are housed in distinct enclosures to keep the control systems at an appropriate temperature. For the Photon model in warmer climates, we implement extra forced-air cooling.

The street light feature automatically activates the bench lighting when it gets dark and deactivates it after a set period. This street light operates without external sensors like a dusk sensor, ensuring its reliability. We can customize the settings to meet individual customer needs, such as switching the light on 30 minutes post-sunset and turning it off 4 hours later.

The bench is maintenance-free and operates autonomously once installed at the chosen site, without requiring any external upkeep.

The bench can be secured to the ground as it includes mounting holes in its legs. While not required due to its significant weight, it is advisable. The bench doesn't require any external connections, allowing Photon to be placed in any unshaded area.

Charging from zero to full battery typically requires around eight hours on a sunny day (such as after a streak of overcast days). In regular use, fully charging takes roughly five hours. However, this doesn’t mean that the bench stops functioning during this period. The power management system strategically activates certain features. For instance, if you prioritize functionalities like phone charging and Wi-Fi, these will be the last to shut off and the first to reactivate.

We've put in maximum effort to ensure top-notch quality, using primarily carbon steel/rust-resistant materials and tempered glass (known as safety glass). We've considered potential forms of damage and strengthened the most susceptible parts. We've rigorously tested our designs under different conditions.

Assuming the bench is fully charged and the surrounding temperature is around 20 degrees Celsius: in the standard model (charges 4 phones daily for two hours, lights operational for 5 hours daily) the maximum operational duration is 80 hours. In more advanced models, operational time varies based on extra features.

The induction loop is a device designed to assist the hearing impaired in utilizing our equipment. This loop is incorporated directly into the music player.

There's no cause for concern, as the entire system operates on a safe 12V voltage and low currents. Moreover, all connections are waterproof and shielded against accidental disconnections.
