Urban Salon Kielce - realization ZANO

Urban Salon is a contemporary, modular system for developing public spaces. It consists of a collection of cutting-edge furniture that focuses on both functionality and unique design. The core concept of this initiative is modularity, which allows for endless and versatile configurations in various public settings.

History.

Market Square in Kielce

The Urban Salon project was developed specifically for the refurbishment of Kielce's town square. The primary goal was to integrate elements of urban greenery into an area that previously lacked plant life, and to create a space that is welcoming to the community. It's a spot for gathering, socializing, and unwinding. Conducting targeted public consultations helped us align the broad preferences of Kielce's populace with specific plans for execution. The outcome was a contemporary public space, blending natural green elements with cutting-edge urban furniture technologies.

Functions.

Implementation of ZANO City Salon in Kielce.

The primary function of the City Salon is to centralize, engage, and connect residents of a particular city within a contemporary space that is open to interactions with nature. As a result, the design of each component within the Salon is intentionally linked with a variety of plant life. The collection of planters, beyond their ornamental roles, arranges the trees within the project area, and simultaneously acts as a foundation for the modern urban chairs and other elements of the Salon. The cohesive setup of each piece of urban furniture facilitates intimate yet discreet interactions among users, promoting relaxation, recreation, and engagement with nature in a city center previously devoid of green spaces.

Functionality...

Realization of the city salon in Kielce

Urban Salon boasts a highly functional design. When there’s a need to clear out space, these designs can be conveniently repositioned. The pots feature concealed compartments that accommodate a Euro-pallet, enabling the easy insertion of a forklift or pallet jack for simple relocation. The components are usually moved using a crane/hds. The pots include internal anchors designed to secure the tree roots, which also aid in lifting the entire setup. After positioning the pots at the intended site, a stainless steel outer shell is applied, ensuring the furniture stays firmly in place. Urban Salon models do not require a foundation, making them versatile for any public area.

Versatility...

Revitalization of Kielce market

The Urban Salon can be tailored to any public area. It is especially suitable for fully developed spaces where altering the ground layout isn’t feasible. The establishment of an Urban Salon begins with just one planter to which four street furniture units can be attached. Due to its modular nature, the configuration of the Salon can expand virtually without limit, constrained only by the available space. Each season allows for the enhancement of the arrangement by adding new pieces of street furniture.
